India Blues led by Chandan Sood won the 7th Diversity Cup tournament held over the weekend of July 7th and 8th in Detroit, Michigan.

India Blues led by Chandan Sood won the 7th Diversity Cup tournament held over the weekend of July 7th and 8th in Detroit, Michigan.  They defeated World XI Lions led by Shahid Malik by a 7 wicket margin. 

Milan Patel of India Blues won the Player of the Match award for his spectacular bowling (4 for 13 off 2.3 overs).   He also scored 17 not out in the chase.   Earlier in the day, India decimated USA Stars by inflicting a 9-wicket defeat.   World XI on too scored a similar 8-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the other semis.

Awards were presented in a post match ceremony to the following cricketers:

MVP and Best Bowler: Chandan Sood

Best Batsman: Timroy Allen

Best Wicketkeeper: Ram Velmakhanni

Best Fielders: Adam Stanford, Arjun Ajbani
