Arizona Cricket Association became the eleventh hard ball cricket league and the thirteenth U.S. cricket league to join the American Cricket Federation (ACF).

Arizona Cricket Association (ACA), which was established in 1989, now has 18 teams and a strong presence from North Phoenix to Tucson.  Regular league matches are played during the winter months when temperatures in Arizona are in low to mid 70s.

The league has access to the picturesque turf wicket at Nichols Park Basin in Gilbert, which was ranked among the top five grounds in USA by DreamCricket.com.  ACF recently announced that this ground would host the first North American Cricket Championship.

The new member announcement is the first for the organization in 2014.  ACF had released a list of twelve members as part of the month-long LeagueToberfest in October.

ACF now enjoys a very large foot print in Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Indiana, and in parts of California, Florida and Washington Metropolitan areas.   ACF's membership includes some of the largest leagues in these areas such as Michigan Cricket Association, Washington Metropolitan Cricket Board, Midwest Cricket Conference, Florida Cricket Conference, Cricket League of New Jersey,  Southern Connecticut Cricket Association, Massachusetts State Cricket League, North Florida Cricket League, Orange County Cricket Association and Greater Philadelphia Cricket League.  Metro Detroit Cricket League and NJ Softball Cricket League are soft-ball cricket members of ACF.  Non-league supporters such as USYCA, CC Morris Cricket Library and Philadelphia Cricket Festival have also formally joined the ACF as members.

While USACA does not publish a full list of members, New York, Central West (Texas and Colorado) and South East are thought to be USACA strongholds.  Elsewhere, the body continues to enjoy the loyalty of leagues such as NCCA, NWCL and WCL, which are the largest leagues in North West and Washington DC areas.   Several other leagues remain non-committal and appear to be taking a middle-of-the-road approach.
