Greg Chappell completed one year as coach of the Indian team in August. He took over in Sri Lanka last year where India were beaten by the hosts in the final of the ODI tri-series.

The tenure has been a controversial one with plenty of ups and downs and the biggest news of all being his leaked e-mail that sealed the fate of captain Sourav Ganguly.

While the highlights include winning the Test series in the West Indies earlier this year, the lows have been losing to Pakistan in the Test series and to the West Indies in the ODIs.

Besides, India also crushed Sri Lanka and England at home in the ODI series.

Chappell has surprised as well as shocked Indian cricket followers with his radical thinking and out-of-the-box methods.
