One big idea is that up to three decisions per innings can be appealed to the third umpire.&amp;nbsp; Mohan outlines some of the proposals coming out of the ICC&amp;#39;s cricket committee. On &lt;a href="http://i3j3cricket.wordpress.com/2008/05/07/a-few-changes-to-playing-rules/"&gt;the appeals&lt;/a&gt; in particular:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;The ICC Cricket Committee recommended further that Hawkeye could be
used only to determine the path of the ball up to the point that it
struck the batsman. A wise decision in my view. The questions that
