Here is one way to console a batsman who has a pair of ducks against his name - Harold Cox and Sons (by Royal Appointment, no less) have created a cricket brooch known as the Golden Duck. The duck carries a white gold bat, set with 10 diamonds,
under its wing. The duck has a cabochon ruby eye and a hand enamelled
cap.
"A fun brooch that makes a great gift for a cricket enthusiast," claims the jeweler. How much? How does GBP 900 sound? You can buy it here.

A German clothier and English cricketers! Some brand guy came up with this bright idea. And the cricketers were pleased to endorse this iconic brand. ECB Commercial Director, John Perera said: “It
demonstrates that cricket is now able to attract brands of stature such
as BOSS, and confirms the growing appeal of our sport.” Chris Chinaloy, brand manager for BOSS fragrance and skincare at P&G Prestige Products, said “We believe the qualities of these ‘gentlemen players’ epitomise what is sexy in a man today. And
with the number of women following the England games and attending
county and Test matches, we see huge potential for cricket to become
the stylish sport."

Rolexes and Cartiers may be cool but there is only one watch for a cricket connoisseur. The Cricket by Revue Thommen. Introduced in 1947, it is the first
acoustic alarm watch. This one could set you back by $2000. The joke has it that this Newsweek cover from August 31, 1964 was the first time cricket was
featured on a USA magazine cover. President Johnson wore his
favorite Cricket watch for the picture.
This watch was worn by American Presidents including Franklin D. Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhauer and
Gerald Ford. It earned the nickname 'Presidents Watch." In 1997, RT introduced two new models to celebrate the watch's 50th anniversary: an
Anniversary Platinum, and the Cricket 1997. [Of course, the name has nothing to do with the game, more to do with the loud cricket like shout. But if you are a cricket fan, would you care?]

Too bad Zaheer Khan found the line but missed the length.
By May of 2007, it was reported that "the couple has decided to end their relationship because things were not working between them anymore. Sources close to the couple are quoted as saying that Isha and Zaheer have indeed parted ways and have moved on with their lives."
But in September 2007, things were back on track. The rumours of Khan having come back into the life of his ex-flame Isha Sherwani was almost confirmed when the cricketer was spotted with her at Leena Mogre's fitness gym. The fellow gym-mers were apparently rather surprised to see the actor and cricketer being back to their cosy-in-love status! Format: ??? Duration: 5:50 mins

In October of 2004, 2 weeks after reports of a fling with another beauty queen Marisa Eggli, Jacques Kallis said he and former Miss South Africa Cindy Nell were getting married.
Star South African cricketer Kallis said his affair with 20-year-old Marisa Eggli had been a "big mistake". "It made me realise that Cindy is special and that she played such a huge role in my life," he said yesterday. Kallis had earlier broken off a much-publicised relationship with Nell, but told Rapport: "I should never have broken up with her in the first place. I love her immensely.
Eggli alleged that in June, while Kallis was still dating Nell, he had pestered her with constant telephone calls and SMSs in which he declared his love for Eggli.

As a cricket-obsessed child, Nisha Kothari worshipped Kapil Dev and played with balls (pun unintended). So it was no surprise when she agreed to shoot a TV commercial with the legendary cricketer. Nisha and Kapil are brand ambassadors of 'Trophy' - a range of perfumes for men and women.

Smells like cricket!
"We eat, drink and sleep cricket. So I was quite excited when they approached
me. You can now smell cricket too! I'm endorsing four fragrances for women. The
bottle is in the shape of a golden cricket ball."
Interestingly, the perfume has the official tag of being the 'perfume and
fragrance of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007' to be held in West Indies. That
to most is a bad odour, not to mention a bad taste too!
