Axe gets raunchy and in-your-face with their cricket themed online campaign for their body hygiene products.  Here is a sampler.

Lisa Haydon, the model, actress and fashion icon partnered with Sher Singh to launch a cricket inspired line.  The label is best known for its IPL city-themed cricket polo shirts carrying the line "Sher Singh Cricket Club."   More recently, it became the leisurewear partner for Kings XI Punjab.   Incidentally, Lisa Haydon joined Zaheer Khan as that label's brand ambassador but Zaheer is also an investor in the company which was recently acquired by Myntra.com.

Sarah Jaffer a tabloid page 3 favorite from Middlesex, was known for her saucy shoots, spoke French, was a big cricket fan and enjoyed sailing and cycling.   Back in 1992, when she won The Sun Girl of the Year, a controversy erupted.  'She looks like a bag of coat hangers tied together.' The biggest complaint was that Sarah, 21, a former shop assistant and complete unknown, had only won because her picture was printed in the paper far bigger than those of the other 11 contestants.

The 21 year old The Only Way is Essex star Sam Faiers was seen promoting the Lazy Bar Walker service at last year's Friends Life T20 games.

Last month, the TOWIE star was seen in a Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired photo shoot with her co-star Joey Essex.

Shriya Saran who has appeared on Page 3 cricket for attending a victory celebration for Mohammed Azharuddin or endorsing the Celebrity Cricket League now reappears fully padded up (well, not fully, because she wears just one pad).   Shriya will be seen in the noted director Shekhar Kammula's upcoming Telugu movie 'Life is Beautiful' playing cricket.   What should we expect?  A wristy shot or a leg glance?

Poonam expressed her support for the IPL 5 winning team, Kolkata Knight Riders, by stripping.   When the captain of the losing CSK team, Dhoni, was asked about Poonam Pandey's nude photograph, he said: "you need to have some spice." 

When India won the World Cup, Poonam had promised to go nude, but Dhoni was forced to wait until his CSK side was defeated for her to walk the talk.

She tweeted: "#NewPicAnd here is a Pic as I PROMISED #IPL #KKR #SRK #Dare2BareAll #OnlyForAbove18."  Shah Rukh Khan was happy.

Anushka Sharma, the girl who urges Akshay Kumar to follow his dreams and play cricket for England in the hit Bollywood movie Patiala House, has a brother who actually played Ranji level cricket.

“Not many people know this - my brother Karnesh Sharma was a state-level cricketer. He played for the Ranji trophy. But he had to let go of his aspirations and join the Merchant Navy. So the subject really matters to me. My character sees Akshay’s (who played Gattu in the film) frustrations and since she has a crush on him since they were 17, she urges him to follow his dreams,” Anushka told the Khaleej Times.

On his part, Akshay actually learned to bowl and worked with Balvinder Singh Sandhu to improve his bowling action.

For former England cricketer, Alex Loudon, 30, life after cricket was very low-key.   That is until the royal wedding brought a lot of attention to his girl friend Pippa Middleton - the sister of Kate Middleton.  

The sudden interest in Pippa has left Loudon taken aback, according to The Guardian.  Not surprising since Alex Loudon has been working as a financial analyst and avoiding the limelight since he retired from cricket in 2007.

In 2007, it was reported that he made a tough call to break up with Isha Sharvani so that he could concentrate on cricket.  On April 11, 2011, Indian media reported that the two have decided to give love a second change.  He is certain to bowl the maiden over in his second spell!
