The first ever American College Cricket Spring Break Championship will be held between March 19-22, 2009 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.
The 2008 ICC Cricketer of the Year Shivnarine Chanderpaul has endorsed the tournament and donated the Championship trophy.

College Cricket Clubs from across the United States will compete in the Championship. Already, Yale University,USC, Boston University, Michigan State, Rutgers, Temple University, Ole Miss, Montgomery College (in Maryland), University of Miami and University of Texas have expressed interest in participating. Teams will include current players and recent alumni during the first year.
Spring Break will take on a new meaning for the young Cricketers who will travel to beautiful South Florida to take part in this ground breaking event. The tournament will be a Twenty20 affair.
