James Mauro wrote in The Collegian that Penn State's spring eight-a-side cricket tournament drew 15 teams, with participants from SUNY Buffalo and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The Nittany Warriors, consisting of Penn State students, won the championship. They defeated Chennai Super Kings, 49-48.
