Central Texas Cricket League(CTCL-Austin) Vs Houston Cricket League(HCL)
CTCL's 190 runs contributed by Amit Lopez's 35, Rohit Chawla's 39 and Humayun Bashir's 60, proved too much for HCL to achieve as they were all out for 149, with Joel Pamphile being their top scorer with 45.
Ankit Mehta was one of the better HCL bowlers claiming 4 for 36, while CTCL's Guru Krish & Chakri Gottemukkala claimed 3 HCL wickets each.

Day 2: Sunday, 24-May-2009
Central Texas Cricket League(CTCL-Austin) Vs North Texas Cricket Association(NTCA-Dallas)
Reduced to a 40 over game, NTCA's summed up their innings for 158 runs, of which 63 came off Rahul Kukreti's bat. For CTCL, Humayun Bashir claimed 4 for 20.
CTCL was able to reach the target in 38 overs for the loss of 6 wickets with contribution from Rohit Chawla's 47 and Satish Patil's 42.
The depredation by the Austin team over HCL on day 1 and over NTCA on day 2, put them on the pedestal to win the CW 2009 Tournament.

Colorado Cricket League(CCL) Vs Houston Cricket League(HCL)
Reduced to a 35 over game, HCL were rounded off to 135 all out in 28.2 overs. Charan Gowda's 32 and Majid Rizvi's 36 were vital knocks for HCL, while CCL's Noman Khan ended with figures of 6-0-17-3.
On the chase, Randhika Fernando's 45 and Gopal Susarla's 35 saw CCL cross the finish line in the last over. CCL's victory over Houston for the 3rd spot provided a feeling of satiety to the CCL team.
