Gabe Pruitt, star point-guard for the University of Southern California's basketball team in 2006, was on the receiving end of a doozy after spending a week chatting online to a sexy stranger who called herself Victoria.
The messages got racier and Pruitt let Victoria know: "I want to c u so bad".
But when he took to the court for a crucial game that weekend, Pruitt discovered "Victoria" was a fictional persona created by the opposition fans.
Chants of "Vic-tor-ia, Vic-tor-ia" began as Pruitt took to the court and the key player promptly choked, sinking just three from 13 from the field.
