NZC Chief Executive David White said he was delighted the West Indies
were able to take the Twenty20 component of the tour to the USA.
“Playing matches in Florida is great for the profile of cricket as
Cricket Holdings America works towards forming a professional Twenty20
league and think West Indies Cricket should be commended for the hard
work that has gone into scheduling the matches,” said White.
“We’re excited about the potential impact of this series for the development and growth of cricket in the USA.
“I’m thrilled that the BLACKCAPS and the West Indies can help
increase exposure and show the locals how exciting Twenty20 cricket is.”
