In 1991, a bunch of Indian students formed a recreational club while still at school at University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Loosely called the Lowell Cricket Club, they focused on the game they were passionate about - Cricket, by visiting different teams all over the east coast. Cricket was played on some weekends over summer based on weekly availability of team members and their exam schedule. Much (including the name) has changed since then but the passion for the game has stayed unwavered. In the late 1990s, a core group of people who had stayed in the region after graduating decided to expand the team and play competitive cricket on a regular basis. Thus was born Dunstable-Lowell Cricket Club - a nascent newbie in the Massachusetts State Cricket League (MSCL). After 4 years of playing in Division 2, DLCC - which was finally re-christened to Star Cricket Club of New England - was promoted to Division 1 in 2004. Currently placed first in Division 2, SCCNE is vying to be in the playoffs. Please keep visiting this website to check on our progress.

He also has the record for the highest score by an American in the under 19 world cup. 70 vs Australia, the world champs. Give he kid a chance already to prove what he can do against the big boys. he already got a century against a new york team which includes 5 USA senior team players. all 4 under 19 players should be in the squad to bermuda and italy

Is there substantial prizemoney on offer? Or is it only for bragging rights?

I would see this tournament as the perfect chance to test younger players. This is only a dress rehearsal for the World Cricket League division 4. That tournament has real implications, leading to a possible spot in world cup, and also affecting world rankings which then affect how much money the ICC provide. USACA need to do everything they can to ensure the USA team is as well prepared for that tournament as possible.

If USACA stuff around at ICC Americas, it will be a wasted opportunity.

then everyone will be happy thats more than 30 talented young cricketers all under the age of 25

There are a bunch of young players around the country and those three guys would better serve USA Cricket as SCOUTS.

The next person who should not be invited is Imran Awan the guy has no discipline to repersent the National Team I saw this guy behave like a Baberous human specimen in Secacus NJ last year duting the MaqT20 Finals.
