10 teams advance to the ICC U-19 WC Global Qualifier in Toronto in September. From the Regional Qualfiers, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu advanced from Asia-Pacific, Afghanistan and Hong Kong from Asia, Uganda and Sierra Leone from Africa, USA and Canada from the Americas, and two teams from Europe will go from their Qualifier to be played starting Tuesday in Jersey. The hosts Jersey, along with Denmark, Guernsey, Ireland, the Netherlands and Scotland will compete for the final two spots for the Global Qualifier in Toronto.
From this event, the top 6 teams will qualify to join the 10 full member nations in New Zealand for the U-19 World Cup in February of next year.
