 Boinepally is not in the XI today for South West. Pruthiraj Panda and Ravi Singh are the other two sitting out today. Panda had to be taken to the hospital before play started after he fainted while warming up. But was awake and alert before he was taken to the hospital. No report on his current condition yet.

 Central East 79/2 after 16 overs. Aditya Thyagarajan replaces Dave from the Park End and struggles with line, bowling three wides in the over with his leg spin. A big sin committed for the spinner overstepping for a no ball allows  Babar to smash a 4 off the free hit, the second time in the game they've had a 4 off a free hit. Kumar 21, Babar 12.

Central East 82/2 after 18 overs. A misfield by Ali Shafi at gully spoils what should have been a maiden for Thyagarajan. Excellent comeback from him in the over. Kumar 23, Babar 13. Thyagarajan 2-0-9-0. Drinks were taken after 15 overs. It's an absolutely pristine day here in Minneapolis. About 75 degrees and sunny with a nice breeze coming through the ground.

 Central East 95/2 after 22. Missed stumping chance. Kumar tried to use his feet and flick Thyagarajan and missed. Kadu couldn't get the bails off in time. One single in the over Thyagarajan bowling beautifully after a poor first over for 8 runs. 4-0-11-0. Kumar 26, Babar 20.
