Standford just hit a four and a huge six in the last over bowled by Siddharth Mehta as New York is looking to surge in the face of the rising asking rate. They scored 13 in the last over. They need 101 runs in the final 10 overs to win the tournament title and the $5000 Grand Prize. Bedessee NY Destroyers are 74 for 5 after 10 against the Global NJ Daredevils. Bartley is on 18, Standford is on 13.

Bartley and Standford have taken another 12 off Neil McGarrell to move the score to 86/5 in 11. This match is evenly balanced now with the way these two are going at the crease.

Sean Stanislaus has just taken an amazing catch to dismiss Bartley on the cover boundary. Standford has just departed as well, both men out for 25. That'll be the nail in the coffin for NY. The score is 97 for 7 in 13. Global is on their way to the $5000 prize.

Aditya Mishra has struck again for his tournament leading 11th wicket, getting Ron Andrew out stumped for his second scalp today. Bartley was the first. NY is 107/8 in 14.

New York isn't giving up. Bridgepaul has brought the heat, hitting three sixes since his arrival. Adams just connected with his second six. They've torn into Kumar Nandlal in the 17th over for 18 runs in the over. But on the last ball, Bridgepaul skied another attempted six where it was taken by Mishra at mid on. Global is one wicket away from victory. 138/9 in 17 overs. 175 is the target. 37 to win in 18 balls.

The captain Neil McGarrell has just taken the final wicket, getting number 11 Twain Walter to slice one to backward point and the Global NJ Daredevils have won the Radiant Info Twenty20 USA 2010 by 36 runs! It was a great all-round team effort with Glen Hall setting up victory by scoring 81 to open the match and Jermaine Lawson did the heavy work in the field, taking 5 for 28. They'll take part in the $5000 prize awarded to the winner. The Bedessee New York Destroyers never gave up and finish with $2000 as the runner-up.

Global NJ DareDevils Congratulations on winning the RadiantInfo T20 Tournament !!!

Congratulations also need to go to the losing finalists Bedessee NY Destroyers for playing excellent cricket and making it an exciting final.  The two best teams that played aggressively and consistently in the earlier rounds rightly made it to the final.  As the cliche goes "too bad there had to be a loser"

Special mention need to be made of the effort put in by the organizers (DreamCricket) and the main Sponsor (RadiantInfo) for giving us all a wonderful tournament to watch and participate in.  The colored uniforms for the teams, dress code for the umpires and scorers, the large scoreboards, running commentary for the finals and the regular updates on the web have all contributed to making this a very entertaining tournament for all those who had a privilege to be at the grounds.  Of course, the weather gods also need to be thanked for helping out with excellent weather over this labor day weekend and making it a festive atmosphere and thanks to Hurricane Earl for keeping out :-)

Once again congrats to all and hope for an even better tournament next year.
