Congratulations to the USA team on moving back up to Div 3. It will be interesting to see how they perform more close to home, and it will again be interesting to watch the behaviour of the USACA board and how they go about preparing the team for an important series.

So potentially, USA's hope of promotion might already be dashed. Even if they win their remaining 3 matches, including beating Nepal, they may finish 3rd on net run rate if Nepal beat Denmark and all 3 teams don't lose to Tanzania, Singapore and Malaysia. Goes to show how crucial each match is.

Should the USA team be graded compared with all the other teams or graded against realistic expectations for their capabilities? Simplest grade for the team is that they finished 12th out of 16.
