In the second round of trading, Sachin Tendulkar remained the most sought
after batsmen by dreamcricket captains occupying the top spot in 10.56% of the total teams. Mark Waugh came in second featuring in 7.2% of the dreamteams.
Pakistan's Faisal Iqbal was the least held batsman with just .06% of the
captains selecting him.
On the bowling side Shane Warne found a spot in the most number of
dreamteams at 7.28%. Daryl Tuffey was second with 6.9% of the captains
selecting him and Sri Lanka's Muralitharan was held by 5.74 % of the teams.
Dreamteam captains must curse their luck for not selecting rookie Mohammed Sami who was one of the least held bowlers. The lucky few that held Sami got a whopping return 43.85% for his performance.
Craig White was the top all-rounder with 24% of the dreamteams selecting him and Collin Miller was picked up by 22% of the captains.
Surprisingly Sanath Jayasuria did not find himself a spot in many teams (3.8%), maybe because of the high prize tag.
Naryan Mongia was the most popular wicket keeper featuring in 32% of the
teams and Adam Gilchrist was held by 14.81% of the teams. This again was very surprising, since we were expecting some distribution from Mongia to other keepers who have performed well.
