6. HOW TO PLAY:

General

The objective of the Promotion is to accumulate the most points by correctly selecting the "winning pick" for each of matchups associated with the Tournament.

How to make your selections.

You may enter your selections online by following the instructions in the How To Play (http://doosra.dreamcricket.com/howtoplay.asp) section of the Promotion.

Scoring

From all eligible entries received, the 1st Place Prize winner will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of World Cricket to accumulate the most points during tournament.

Example: Points for ICC World Cup 2007:

Round 1 (Group Stages) - 10 points per correct entry

Round 2 (Super 8) - 20 points per correct entry

Round 3 (Semi Finals) - 40 points per correct entry

Round 4 (Finals) - 80 points per correct entry

In the event a Tournament match does not occur as scheduled (e.g., due to cancellation, postponement, etc.) no points will be awarded. Ties for the 1st Place Prize will be broken in accordance with the tiebreaker procedure below.

For a Twenty20 competition, Tie is only possible in the event of a rain-out.
There will be a winner in all matches that are played 5 overs or more.

Locktime

All picks will lock before the 1st match of the Tournament currently scheduled for March 13, 2007. Your picks for the matchups must be submitted, received and recorded by Sponsor's computer by the scheduled locktime. Selections submitted after the deadline are considered invalid. Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.

Ties

Entrants are required to submit an answer to one (1) tiebreaker question to be used for tiebreaking purposes only. The question is "What will the Winning Team’s score score in the World Cup Finals?"
How are the ties broken? The pool of tied entrants is reduced until only one (1) potential winner remains by applying the rules below in the order listed. However, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, elect not to break a tie and instead to award the 1st Place Prize to one eligible winners (or to all eligible winners then remaining after applying one [1] or more tiebreaker rules).
In all cases, an entry that does not win a tiebreaker is eliminated from consideration for the 1st Place Prize: Tiebreaker #1 - In all cases, an entry that does not enter a tiebreaker answer will not be considered. The predicted score of the championship game is compared to the score of the championship game. The differences between the predicted scores and actual scores are calculated and added. The entry with the smallest total difference is considered the winning entry. If more than one entry has the smallest total difference, those entries go on to the next tiebreaker:
Tiebreaker #2 - Number of points scored in Round 3.
Tiebreaker #3 - Number of points scored in Round 2.
Tiebreaker #4 - Number of points scored in Round 1.
In all cases, an entry that does not win a tiebreaker is eliminated from consideration for the 1st Place Prize.

Umpires and match referees

The decisions of the professional officials officiating the World Cup match shall be final and binding regarding the outcome and result of aforementioned match.
