Scoring Rules for 20-20 Tournaments

We have evaluated our scoring system to reflect and reward based on individual performance

We can generalize the main composition of the team into the following 4 categories

Batsman
Bowler
Wicket Keeper
Fielder

Batting

Every run scored	$1
0 Runs -Batsman	-$50 (negative)
0 Runs -All Rounder	-$30 (negative)
0 Runs -Bowler	-$10 (negative)
0 Runs -Wkt Keeper	-$20 (negative)

Bonus

25 - 49 Runs	$25
50 - 74 Runs	$50
75 - 99 Runs	$100
100 - 124 Runs	$200
125 - 149 Runs	$250
150 - 174 Runs	$300
175 - 199 Runs	$500
> 200 Runs	$1,000

Example:
If batsman had these following averages, the his $ value will be calculated as

Runs Given
A bowler will earn points based on number of runs given averaged over 10 overs. The median is considered to be 32 runs for 4 overs. The following formula will be used to evaluate this criteria.

$X = 32 - R

X = dollar value earned
R = Runs given per 4 overs

If R is above >32 then
R-Batsman = -$10 Runs
R-All Rounder = -$30 Runs
R-Bowler = -$50 Runs
R-Wkt Keeper = -$20 Runs

Hence the worst a Bowler can do, will be -$50.

A player has to have bowled a minimum of 12 balls (2 overs) to be evaluated under RUNS GIVEN criteria.
