DIRECTV announced on Wednesday that all International Cricket Council (ICC) and Indian Premier League (IPL) Cricket Tournaments will be available exclusively on DIRECTV through CricketTicket® 2010 Season Offer.
The company's CricketTicket®, the first year-long subscription TV package for international cricket, enables U.S. audiences to catch all the ICC tournaments, IPL, Champions League Twenty20, Australian cricket, South African cricket, New Zealand cricket and other major cricket events only on DIRECTV.
CricketTicket events for 2010 include the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in West Indies, the 2010 IPL tournaments, the India Tour of South Africa, Australia Tour of New Zealand and Champions League and the Zimbabwe tour of South Africa.
CricketTicket is available for $299.99 or 3 payments of $100 per month for the full season as part of its International programming platform.. Individual matches can also be purchased á la carte and pricing varies depending on the specific game.
CricketTicket is sold separately and requires an international-services capable dish and activation of any international service package along with a DIRECTV base package ($29.99/mo. or above) or the BASIC CHOICE™ package ($19.99/mo).
