"It is my pleasure to announce opening of our new branch in San Ramon, there was huge demand from this region and I am glad with help of Mayor Bill and SRCA Management team we were able to make this happen," said Rama Chunduri of EYCA.

SRCA President Shridhar said: "We are extremely happy to have found likeminded people in EYCA who were providing a [year-round] cricket program [to] young cricketers.  We will extend our complete support to EYCA to ensure they get all that is needed to run [the] cricket program smoothly."

Gopal Samant, president of EYCA, said: "I am thankful to Mayor Bill Clarkson, SRCA and coach Abid for their support.   Opening a branch in San Ramon was our key target for 2012 and I am glad we have delivered on our promise to our members. This is just a beginning for the region there is a lot in works, in months to come you will see a lot more announcements that will change the face of youth cricket in Bay Area"
