Atlantic Region Cricket Board welcomes new and experienced women cricketers

In a press release issued on August 22, 2012, the Atlantic Region Cricket Board welcomed new and experienced players to join the region's women's program.  The program is open to -

  • Experienced women who have not played cricket in a while
  • Players under-21 years old who desire to continue playing at the senior level
  • Experienced cricketers who want to continue with the game

 

Rahul Sharma, Women's Coordinator - Atlantic Region Cricket Board, said,  "Atlantic Region is striving to be the national model for women's cricket development in the USA.  The program is designed to satisfy all levels of player development, from beginners to proficient players and all those in between. The region’s program is conducted in a friendly and sociable environment that is conducive to learning."

Sharma said that the coaches will strive to achieve the right balance between learning and having fun while seriously training to compete successfully at the highest level.
