ACF announced on Monday that it had received an expression of support from the CC Morris Cricket Library and Museum and the Philadelphia International Cricket Festival.

The Philadelphia International Cricket Festival is an annual sporting charity event to benefit youth cricket staged during the first weekend in May to promote cricket and to encourage national and international sporting ties.

The CC Morris Cricket Library and Museum, located at Haverford College in Philadelphia, is the largest collection of cricket literature and memorabilia in the Western Hemisphere. The library includes over a thousand volumes and a very large collection of printed and photographic materials and related artifacts of US Cricket history.

C.C. Morris recently contributed substantially to a joint, global exhibition, "Swinging Away", which explored the links between cricket and baseball. In conjunction with the Bradman Center in Sydney, Australia, Lords of London and the US Baseball Hall of Fame, the exhibition toured all three locations to critical acclaim.

Michael Thomas joins ACF's Interim Advisory Board

The media release also noted that Michael Thomas had joined ACF's interim advisory board.   Michael is a co-founder of Philadelphia Cricket Festival and a Director of the C.C. Morris Cricket Library and Museum at Haverford College.

Michael brings with him years of cricketing experience as former captain and president of the British Officers C.C. in Philadelphia.

Michael's successful corporate career included roles as the European Treasurer of a large pharmaceutical company and variously as VP Business Development and CFO in several public companies.
