USA's Steven Taylor was named the Player of the Series for the International XI in the post-match awards presentation following Sunday's second game between the Pakistan All-Star XI and the International XI for the AO Trophy in Karachi, Pakistan.
Taylor scored scored 15 off 15 in the first match at number three in his team's 84-run loss and then notched just 4 off 3 balls on Sunday before he was given out LBW to a ball that appeared to pitch outside leg stump.

He fared much better with the ball, taking one wicket on Saturday before following it up with 3 for 22 in four overs of off-spin on Sunday in the International XI's six-wicket defeat. His wickets on Sunday included Umar Akmal out stumped as well as Shoaib Malik while he dismissed Imran Nazir in both matches.
Taylor also could have had a fifth wicket had a chance off Shahid Afridi not been grassed off his bowling on Saturday. He had the remarkable feat of taking wickets off his very first delivery on both Saturday and Sunday in the T20 matches against the Pakistan All-Stars.
Taylor was named 2011 Cricketer of the Year in DreamCricket.com's New Inning Foundation USA Cricket Awards. He was the only USA representative in the International XI side.
