Description
Curriculum: ICC Youth Cricket Curriculum
  • Eligibility: This session is open to kids 6yrs and older who are just entering the fun world of organized cricket.

    Introduction of cricket skills
  • Fielding
    Overarm throw, catching (high and low balls), receiving an oncoming rolling ball, chasing a hit ball and retrieving it as well as the long barrier method of fielding.

  • Bowling
    The basic action from stationary position to one where a short run up is included.

  • Batting
    Basic action with a stationary ball to one where the ball is rolled and then bowled to the player. Learning to run between the wickets.

  • Catching
    High balls, Low balls, Chasing and retrieving batted or rolled balls

For Ages: 6+yrs

Eligibility: This session is open to kids 6yrs and older who are just entering the fun world of organized cricket.

Dates: 2013 Eleven Saturdays: 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, make-up class 5/18

Timing: 12:30-1:30PM

Equipment: Participants are encouraged to bring their own bats. Wear track-pants or sweat-pants.
