The host team did not disappoint the fans when the

NatWest Trophy finals, and easily defeated Zimbabwe
to win the tournament.
The star of the tournament has been Alec Stewart,
who has returned an amazing

In the finals he gained $152 for
scoring 97 runs and taking
a catch. Heath Streak had a good day with ball
today taking three wickets
and scoring 18 runs to move up by $103.
Guy Wittal was on the down side for the second
consecutive match, $20 dollars
were shaved off his value for his dismal
performance. The other two players in
negative territory were Nkala and Mark Ealham,

Alec Stewart scored a century again, but his effort went in vain as West Indies beat England by 3 runs in a thriller to salvage some lost pride in their last match of the NatWest trophy. Stewart added $200 to his value making him the highest gainer thus far with an impressive return of 95%. Craig White contributed to the English bowling side by taking three wickets and a catch to move by $126.
Graeme Hick was the only player on the negative side today, going down by $10 for scoring a duck. (

Stewart continued his amazing run in this tournament by scoring a century
and taking four catches behind the stumps to move up by whopping 26.83% ($371)
and helped England steer to a comfortable win over Zimbabwe in a prelude of the
finals. With today's performance Stewart ($1754) dethrones Brain
Lara($1579) from the number one spot in the NatWest dreamcricket ranking and becomes the
highest single day point mover ever.
Other big movers of note were Neil Johnson gaining $137 (10.81%), Heath
Streak moved up by 15.18% ($130) for their all round effort and Alistair Campbell
moved up 8.05% ($85) for his efforts with the bat.
On the downside, Paul Strang losing $3 while Stuart Carlisle and Allan
Mullally saw their value decrease by $10. Returning from his injury, captain Hussain gained 6% ($54) to open his

In an exciting match Zimbabwe edged out West Indies in the NatWest Trophy. Highest gainers of the day were Murray Goodwin, SL Campbell and Brian Lara, they moved up by $212, $205 and $112 respectively for their superb batting performance.
This match saw the most number of players in the negative territory in this tournament, eight players moved down by $10.

England confirmed their spot in the final against Zimbabwe after easily defeating West Indies today. West Indies continued their dismal performance and never had any chance in this match. Brain Lara rekindled their hope for a while, but that hope was short lived with his wicket at 54. Lara gained $79 for his effort. For the second match in a row the day belonged to Alec Stewart. Today it was his batting performance that earned him $129. Allan Mullay had a good day with the ball taking three wickets, moving up by $85.
On the downside were, J.C Adams and R.D King.

England easily beat Zimbabwe to avenge the earlier
defeat. This was Zimbabwe's first loss of the
tournament. England's man behind the stumps Alec
Stewart wore golden gloves today dismissing six
batsman to become the highest gainer for the day in
this tournament.
Stewart's value surged 23.91% ($242) to bring his
value up to $1254. "kudos" to Stewart for becoming
the first man to cross the $200 mark for this
tournament and also being the highest ever dollar
gainer for a single match in dreamcricket history.
Andrew Flintoff returned with a move of 3.52% ($40)
was well received. There were no other exceptional
movers of note.
On the downside were Grant Flower, Paul Strang and
Dirk Viljoen, all of them saw their value drop by $10. (

Zimbabwe beats West Indies to book a place in the finals of the Natwest
tournament. All round performance of Neil Johnson saw his value shoot up by
10.18% ($116) for scoring 51 run and later capping two wickets. The other two
players who contributed most to the team victory were highest gainer Guy
Whittall, scoring 83 runs to increase by 13.95% ($108) and Alistair Campbell who
remained not out with 77 runs to move up by 11.43% ($102).
On the negative side
were two West Indians Dillon and Collymore, they went down by -0.39% (-$4) and
-1.25% (-$10) respectively.(
