Chris Cairns has been the biggest surprise at the midway point of the VB Series, gaining an astounding 36.50%, translating to $365, in only 3 matches. At a initial price of $1,000, he seems to be a bargain for Investors long on Cairns.

With Shane Bond, gaining $234 (36%) and Chrish Harris earning $296 (33%), Kiwis have take the top 3 spot on offer.

Other worthy mentions are Bichel $271(33%), Kirsten $244(26%), McGrath at $279(%23%) and Mark Boucher $212(21%). {movers & shakers}

Kiwi surprise, as Australia is stunned in the VB opener!

Chris Harris proved he's a bargain @ $900 , while many of the blue chip's failed to impress the fund managers.

Managers should try and utilize this vesting period to make changes to their portfolio, before the Jan 15th freeze period.
