As of the 1st Trading period, we have noticed interesting selection patterns from out captains.
Despite heavy price tag Tendulkar was the most chosen batsman at 11.49% of
the teams. This explains the enormous expectations he faces every time he steps out to bat.
Mark Waugh was at the second spot at 9.26%, followed by VVS Laxman at 7.98%,
Dravid (7.34%) and Hussain at 6.91% to round of the top 5.
Hussain was the surprise pick, having been priced at $925 and was picked
more than De Silva ($925), Dilshan ($825).
The Bottom 5 was even more of a surprise with Atapattu, Langer, Arnold,
Trescothick and Damien Martyn rounding of the bottom 5.
Atapattu was picked only 0.96% times, which was clearly a mistake, as he
returned 45.55% to eun up @ $1601. Langer, Arnold & Martyn were understandable as there were
many good batsmen to pick from, but Trescothick was a major shocker, as he
was only picked 1.60% amongst all teams. He too returned handsomely with a
31.18% performance to finish the day at $1279.
