The Cricket safari in Kenya has concluded amidst thrilling cricket and a triumph
for the Kiwis in almost 30 years! We saw performances from teams like Kenya and Bangladesh.
We saw some great batting performances from Anwar, Gangully, Avishka. All
together we saw 5 centuries in this tournament. 19 half-centuries and 9 ducks.
On the bowling side, Kumble had a fig of 2-22 in 10 overs which was impressive.
Murali mesmerized the Windies with a sick bowling fig of 0-9 in 10 overs.
Wiseman went crazy with a 4 wkt haul against Zimbabwe. Apart from the above,
this tournament was dominated by the batsman.
For Fantasy team captains, the top performing Batsmen were Ganguly (55.75%),
Twose (39.07%), Anwar (37.18%), Astle (25.41%), Avishka (23.7%), Craig McMillan
(21%) & Dravid (20.76%)
On the bowling side, O'Connor returned (32.86%) while Mahmood (22.90%), Wiseman
(21.43%) & Prasad (20.56%) were the top gainers.
All rounders performed well with Cairns earning 19.55%, followed by teammate
Harris at 19.06%. Kallis earned 18.86 while another Kiwi Styris increased
14.88%.
Behind the stumps. it was rookie Dahiya who took top honors earning 37.23% while
Romesh and Boucher returned 21.73% & 20.40%.
