Ashish Nehra had a magic spell for the Indians taking six wickets and adding $292 to his value. Rahul Dravid had a good day with the bat and the glove scoring 62 runs and held catches to move up by $147. Another solid performance by Sachin Tendulkar to add $95 to his value and moved ahead of the competition in the dreamcricket rankings.
Andrew Flintoff played like a lion yesterday, if any of his teammates contributed half his effort the outcome would have been different. Flintoff scored 64 runs, held 2 catches and took two important wickets, for that effort he gained $199.

Sachin Tendulkar solidified his number one slot on the dreamcricket ranking with his $352 performance. Saurav Ganguly is proving his critics wrong with a century today and raked in $212 to $1299. Yuvraj Singh did not get much to contribute with the bat, but he made that void up with the ball taking four wickets to gain $179. Dinash Mongia was up by $121.
No significant upside moves by any of the Namibian players. However, on the downside LJ Burger lost $45 of his value.

Although England won the match, Namibian players RJ Van Vauuren and AJ Burger were the most impressive. Vauuren’s five wickets haul saw his value jump by $214 to $776 and his Dreamcricket ranking also jumped 47 spots to 109. Burger scored 85 runs to give his team a legitimate chance to pull off an upset win over England, but after his wicket the team collapsed. However, his effort did not go in vain. He gained $130, making him the second highest gainer for the day.
There was no outstanding performance by the English players to. Two players had a triple digits gain, Ronnie Irani gained $104 and Marcus Trescothick was up by $103.

It was finally a time to rejoice for the Indian captain Saurav Ganguly not only with the Indian win over Zimbabwe, but with his own performance. Ganguly’s performance of $110 must have been a huge sigh of relief for dreamcricket captains who had him in their portfolio. Sachin Tendulkar as usual was the backbone of the Indian batting line up scoring 81 runs to go up by $106 to $1491, making him the most expensive player in dreamcricket. Rest of the Indian team had a solid performance with just one player on the negative side.
For the Zimbabwean side Tatenda Taibu and Grant Flower were the highest gainers, adding $89 and $85 respectively.

Wasim Akram at 34 showed the world that he is still a blue chip, which cannot be discarded from the portfolio just yet. Akram had an impressive outing taking five wickets for 28 runs and gained $234. Tandem bowler Shoaib Akhtar did well too with a gain of $134.
BL Kotze did not fail to impress the oppositions taking a courageous stand to remain not out at 20 and taking 2 wickets. He was the highest gainer of the young Namibian side gaining $78.

Even though the rain disrupted the play South African bowlers must have thanked the rain Gods for saving them from onslaught of Stephen Fleming. Fleming''s unbeaten 134 runs saw him up by $234.
It was tough for anyone to imagine that South Africa could have ended on the losing side after the magnificent batting performance by Herschel Gibbs of 143 runs. Gibbs gained $243 for the effort.

Dismal performance from the Indian batting giants continues to haunt their dreamcricket captains. Sachin Tendulkar along with Harbajan Singh and Anil Kumble were the only double-digit gainers with the bat. Tendulkar was up by $36, Kumble gained $47 and Harbajan Singh gave up almost all his batting gains with sub par bowling performance, he ended up just $6.
Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie were the men responsible for the destructions of the Indian batting lineup, taking three wickets each. Gillespie was up by $117 and Lee gained $90. Solid batting performance Adam Gilchrist ($108) and Matthew Hayden ($45) sealed India''s fate.

How many dreamcricket captains would have picked Thomas Odoyo of Kenya and John Davidson of Canada? Probably not many, but if they did their portfolio would be looking much better. Odoyo gained a hefty $184 and Davidson was up by $146. Other notable performers were Ravindu Shah with a gain of $106 and Ian Billcliff was up by $96. Only one player was on the negative side.

Chaminda Vaas destroys the batting hopes of Bangladesh by striking six times to chalk up a healthy gain of $308. Along with Vaas, fellow bowler Muttiah Muralitharan had good outing with three wickets adding $125 to his value. Sanath Jayasuriya added $100 to his value with the bat and Marvan Atapattu was up by $94.
It was a dismal day for Bangladesh. Six of the players ended on the negative side. Alok Kapali, was the most singnifiant contributor with a gain of $32.
On the Index Sri Lanka was up by 12.79% for the tournament!

Andre Adams gains $194! Adams scored 35 runs, held a catch and took 4 wickets. For that effort he was by 23%. Jacob Oram did not get a chance to bat, but added $79 to his value. No other singnifient contributors from the New Zealand side.
West Indies was mixed lot with three players adding triple digit income. Wavell Hinds gained $109, Ridley Jacobs $105 and Ramnaresh Sarwan $100. Nixon McLean was the only player on the negative side losing $13.
