For starters, dreamcricket.com is an online cricket fantasy gaming site. At dreamcricket, you get the chance to be the captain of your own team. Once you select your team from the available pool of players for a tournament, you follow their performance.

Our fantasy concept is similar to financial portfolio management. At dreamcricket, a captain (the investor) starts with a fixed amount of capital ($10,000) to invest. Within that limit, the captain has to make a prudent investment choice given the current market condition.

So whats the first step? Register with dreamcricket.com if you haven't already done so.

Next, create a team for an ongoing tournament. You can create a team for each tournament that dreamcricket.com is currently covering. Remember that you are given $10,000 to create your team.

Once you have selected your team, follow your team's progress as the tournament proceeds. Check back often to see how your team compares against others.

You can make changes (i.e. make trades) to your lineup until the start of the first match of the tournament. But once the tournament begins, the market is closed and your lineup is frozen until the market re-opens. The current market status of each tournament is displayed on the homepage.
