As all eyes were on Rohan Mohite last week end in the second round of the Georgia Supreme Cricket League as he slams the second century of the young season. The Nashville Cricket Group top order batsman was named player of the week. He played a superb inning but failed to help NCG win this high scoring contest against NCA.
NCG batting first amass 271 all out in 38.5 overs ,thanks to mohite’s splendid knock of 126 from 85 balls - an innings that included shots all around the ground. That inning included 13 fours and 4 sixes but his side could not hold off the determined NCA.
NCA posted 275-7 in 38 overs to pull off an incredible victory. The platform was laid by openers Sujay Kamar and Arun Paul who posted over a hundred opening stand. However it was, Madan Mohan Addala coming in at # 6 who stole the show blasting 83 N.O. in 41 balls, targeting the boundaries with success to hit five fours and six sixes.
Mohite capped a great all-round performance capturing 3 wickets along with his hundred, was the obvious choice for the award.
