GWIA defeated SGCC in a thrilling game at Kennedy Park in Sayreville. Batting first SGCC scored 216 for the loss of 8 wickets. Deepack Uarth scored 47 and Sushant Konda 35 were the top scorers for Sayreville. Bowling for GWIA, D. Lewis got 2 for 25, N. Cohski 2 for 23, C. Crandon 2 for 25 and N. McGarrell 2 for 27.
GWIA replied with 218 for 8, Sean Stanslaws led all scorers with an unbeaten 77, David Walton 46 and Nisarg Cohski 34 led the scoring for GWIA. The game 's balance shifted several times in the end GWIA needed 63 runs in 10 overs. With 2 overs to go GWIA needed 12 runs, in the last over with 4 runs needed the first delivery produced a single, the next 3 were dot balls. The 5th delivery Crandon hit a four to win the game for GWIA. Congratulations to both clubs for providing a very exciting afternoon of cricket.
