Day 4 - Argonauts and Challengers face-off for a place in semis after morning wins

Experienced Tristate Argonauts defeated the young Edison DareDevils in the morning clash at Weston Road Field 1. DareDevils put up a defendable total of 136 runs in 20 overs.
Argonauts started the chase with some big shots and cruised to 55 runs in just 3 overs. Then came the DareDevils pacer Numan Iftikar, he claimed 3 wickets in his 1st over to put the young guns back in the game. Argonauts pulled back on their aggressive game and found a stable partnership in Shantaram and Fazeh Abbasi.

Argonauts won the match in the 19th over. Fazeh Abbasi won Man of the Match for his performance - 42 runs and 2 wickets.
In the other match between Global Challengers and NJ Royals, Challengers won by 18 runs. Challengers scored heavily in this game ending with 165 runs in 20 overs. Neil McGarell the international player top scored with 64 runs, supported
by Derrick Kallicharan (28) and Vishal Nagamootoo (25).
Royals started the chase with a stable opening partnership which cruised to 45 runs in 5 overs. Royals lost two quicks wickets following which the middle order collapsed. The asking rate grew on the new bastmen and the Royals finished on 141 for 7 wickets.

Neil McGarrel won the Man of the Match for his 64 runs and 3 wickets.
Both Challengers and Argonauts are now tied for the second place in Group A with 5 points each. They play each other next to earn the semi-final spot in the NuWare New Jersey T20 competition.
