Profile of the New York Cricket Region


The New York Cricket Region (NYCR) is a member of the United States of America Cricket Association and is one of its eight administrative regions. The NYCR is the only organization authorized to administer cricket in the state of New York. The NYCR is administered by an Executive Council and various committees. NYCR is a non profit corporation registered with the Department of State of New York state.

NYCR is composed of seven cricket leagues and approximately one hundred and thirty five clubs.
Clubs have membership of from fifteen to sixty members. There are 1000s of players participating in our programs.

NYCR had instituted a five year Strategic Development Plan in 2002 for the development of cricket with emphasis on the recruiting and training of young boys and girls from age seven to nineteen.
