Speaking about the tournament, Venu Myneni, CEO, Radiant Info, said: "It gives us immense pleasure to begin our association with cricket in USA with this Twenty20 tournament.""I watched the final of the 2008 Twenty20 tournament organized by DreamCricket.com, and was impressed with the intensity of the
2008 competition and the level of talent in USA.

“From all indications, this year’s tournament will be bigger and better.   We are happy that the tournament will now be known as the Radiant Info USA Twenty20.

“At Radiant Info, we always emphasize on talent and skill, and the Radiant Info Twenty20 will serve as a small step towards nurturing cricketing talent. Cricket has mass appeal in all parts of the world.  Through our support of this event, we hope to serve as a catalyst in its development in USA.”

Gokul Chakravarthy, Commissioner of the DreamCricket.com Tournament Committee said: “We are truly happy to have Radiant Info as our title sponsor.  Their support allows us to make this year's tournament tighter in terms of the number of teams, bigger in player caliber and cricket regions represented. We will also be incorporating a lot of features common in international cricket that are not always seen in this part of the world.  These will include ICC qualified umpires, 3rd umpires (without TV replay), live radio commentary via our radio partner EBC 1170AM, and live text commentary via a dedicated website that we will announce next week."

Ms. Kranthi Bayya, CEO of DreamCricket.com said: "Radiant Info shares a common vision with us to make the tournament a platform for all young and aspirational cricketers in this part of the continent.   In addition to top local talent, the tournament will feature over a dozen cricketers who have played international or first class cricket."   "Six teams - one each from New England, New York, Greater New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Washington DC will take part in this tournament," Ms. Bayya noted.

The teams and their rosters are expected to be announced this weekend.  Separately, Ms. Bayya announced that Collabera, a global outsourcing provider, has signed up as a Bronze sponsor.  More sponsor announcements are expected in the coming days. If you would like to sponsor a team, please contact - frontfoot (at) dreamcricket.com
