DreamCricket.com announced today that Reebok had signed up as the Official Equipment Partner for the Radiant Info USA Twenty20 Cricket tournament.
The tournament, the largest such tournament to be held in USA, begins on September 5th and features six teams representing New England, New York, New Jersey, Greater NY, Philadelphia and Washington DC. The team rosters, which are expected to be announced this weekend, are an exciting blend of top USA talent and invited international cricketers.
Speaking on the occasion, Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director of Reebok India said: "Reebok is delighted to be the Equipment Partner of the DreamCricket.com organized tournament for the second year running. Reebok is already the leading cricket brand in Asia and other cricketing countries. We are excited about the game's growth in North America and are happy to see that this tournament has become an important initiative to promote the game in USA."
The tournament will use Reebok white cricket balls and many of the prize winners will receive Reebok cricket equipment.
Thanking Reebok India for its continued partnership, Ms. Kranthi Bayya, CEO of DreamCricket.com said: "The Reebok brand has a very strong association with cricket and it is the official kit provider for major teams like Sri Lanka, South Africa and several IPL teams. We are glad to have won their confidence and support for our event two years in a row."
Ms. Bayya noted that plans were underway to sell Reebok cricket equipment in USA. "We are in discussions with Reebok to promote and market their entire range of cricket products in USA before year-end via our shopping portal - PavilionShop.com and via our retail outlets."
Simultaneously, DreamCricket.com announced that it had entered into an agreement with Creatigies Communications, one of India's leading sports management firms having done innovative work with the IPL, as the Marketing Partner for the Radiant Info USA Twenty20. "We are grateful for the help extended by Navroze Dhondy, CEO of Creatigies, and Leander Sport in cementing this partnership," Ms. Bayya said.
