The Radiant Info USA Twenty20, presented by DreamCricket.com, is already living up to the promise with each team drafting superlative talent.   The tournament features six teams - New York Destroyers, New England Pioneers, New Jersey Daredevils, Gentlemen of Philadelphia, Washington DC Senators and Global Challengers of Greater New York.

As expected, New York Destroyers, sponsored by Bedessee Sports, has pulled out all the stops for this tournament.  Here is a sneak preview of some of the players that will be wearing the New York Destroyers uniform:

Reon King (34) - Reon Dane King played 19 Tests and 50 One Day Internationals for the West Indies. One of the few in USA cricket that has a test five-for against his name, Reon last played for West Indies in a test match against Pakistan in June of 2005 .  Reon was West Indies' fastest bowler during the last decade and continues to bowl with sting today getting 3 for 22 in the NYPL recently.   Pictured (Right) - Reon King

Barrington Bartley (28) - Barrington, who once played alongside Chris Gayle as part of the Jamaica U19 squad, is a tremendous middle order batsman who appeared in the ICC Trophy 2005 for USA. He top scored with 52 in the match against Bermuda that USA lost. Barrington is also a part-time left slow orthodox bowler who is constantly in the wickets in the Eastern Conference.  Playing in the West Indies domestic ODI competition in 2008, as part of a depleted team that was missing some of its stars, Barrington scored 26 against Barbados and 27 against Combined Campuses.

Kevin Darlington (37) - Kevin played 30 first class matches as a Right-arm fast medium bowler for Guyana taking 79 wickets.   In the recent Eastern Conference championship, he was the chief of the demolition squad for New York - getting 3 for 16 against Atlantic and 4 for 35 against South East.  Pictured (Left) - Kevin Darlington

Akeem Dodson (21) - Widely regarded throughout his junior career as the best American born batsman, Akeem Dodson did very well on debut in the ICC U19 World Cup in Sri Lanka (2005-2006) scoring 29 against Bangladesh, 43 against West Indies, and 27 against Australia.  Akeem has since graduated to playing for the senior team.   Playing against a strong Trinidad and Tobago side in WICB Domestic ODI series in 2008, as part of the invited USA team, Akeem scored 31 not out.

Dennis Evans (27) - Dennis was part of the USA team that went to Guyana in 2008 in the WICB domestic ODI tournament.   His most successful List A outing was against Combined Campuses where he top-scored with 30.  In last year's DreamCricket Twenty20, Dennis top scored with 37 with 5 fours in the semi-finals before an unfortunate run-out consumed him and his New York side wilted under pressure.
