Team USA's Dave Wallace with an undefeated 95 steals the spotlight in SFCA Keith Graham Classic.

At the end of the eighth round of the 2009 South Florida Cricket Alliance (SFCA), Keith Graham Memorial Classic Cricket Tournament Team USA, Guyana, India, Barbados and Leewards, all scored wins, but Team USA's Dave Wallace with an undefeated 95 stole the spotlight.
2008 champions Team USA, hosting Jamaica at Myrtle Grove, won the toss, but after allowing Jamaica first strike dismissed them for 173 from 35.3 of the allotted 40 overs. Sunil Mittoo hit an enterprising 72 including 8 fours, Courtney Dommer got 18 and Mark Johnson 16. Bowling for Team USA, Rhaines Boothe bagged 3 for 22, Nazim Ali 3 for 33 and Mainu Ahmad 2 for 30.
Replying, Team USA knocked up 175 for 8 off 29.3 overs, to register a 2 wicket victory. Dave Wallace, continuing to show excellent form banged 13 fours and 4 sixes in a stroke filled undefeated 95, to lead the victory hunt. Shawn Beckford and Ali chipped in with 14 each.
Bowling for Jamaica, Owen Roper Took 2 for 33, Ricardo Wilson 2 for 35 and Kayione Gayle 2 for 40.
At Lake Stevens Elementary School, where Guyana hosted Trinidad & Tobago (T & T), T & T was dismissed for a modest 136 off 39.4 overs, after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Timothy Surujbally top-scored with 26 (2 fours), Balliram Nayaik got 25 (2 fours), whilst Dave Mohammed and Noel Surujbally got 18 each. Bowling for Guyana, Kiaume Mohamed took 4 for 28, Vickram Ramoutar 2 for 21, Fizal Sheriff 2 for 31 and Masood Mohamed 2 for 32.
In reply, Guyana looking for 137 for victory reached 137 for 6 after 38.3 overs, to score a convincing 4 wicket victory. Hasrat Amin in fine nick, smacked 5 fours in a crisp knock of 48, Vickram Kumar remained undefeated on 17, while Masood Mohamed and Andrew Premaul got 16 each. The best of the bowlers for T & T were, Dave Mohammed 2 for 29 and Timothy Surujbally 2 for 33.
At John Prince Park, home team India won the toss and taking to the crease first against the Windwards, posted 175 for 7 off the 40 overs allowed. Rejesh Thadani top-scored with 37, Nalinikanth Jammula got 27, Vaibhav Nayar 20 and Sunil Nair 16. Bowling for the Windwards, Rene Toussaint captured 3 for 45, Antoine Cherlery 2 for 27, Mike Victor 1 for 22 and Mike Mofford 1 for 28.
In reply, The Windwards were toppled for 128 in 34.3 overs. Only Gayton Williams, who got a fighting 45, Erine Joseph 22 and Bert Davis 22 not out, offered any real resistance. Bowling India to a 47 run victory, Nair snared 4 for 20, Sandeep Desai 2 for 25, Vamseedhar Kalam 2 for 27 and Pranay Tigga 1 for 16.
In the SFCA Youth vs. Barbados match at Lauderhill Sports Park, winning the toss and batting first, Barbados rattled up a respectable 274 for 9 off the regulated 40 overs.
Raymond Denny slammed 8 fours and 4 sixes in a quick-fire 60, Tony Reid hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in a blazing 46, Carl Ifill banged 7 fours and a six in his sparkling 44, Kenny Smith hit 38 (5 fours & 2 sixes) and Cordell Millington 26 (2 fours & 1 six).
Bowling for the SFCA Youth, Gaston Walker took 3 for 31, S. Konakoturge 2 for 23 and S. Forbes 2 for 35. In reply, the SFCA Youth fell for 199 after 36.4 overs.
Nickolas Mittoo hit 57 (5 fours & 3 sixes) to top-score, Konakoturge got 34 (2 fours & a six), T. Blair 23 (3 fours & a six) and Jermaine McFarlane 22. Bowling honors for Barbados went to, Ifill who prised out 4 for 48 and Steve Brathwaite with 2 for 32. Barbados won by 75 runs.

Mervin Phillip 59, Ivor Henry 31, Glenville Hobson 29 and Peter Anthony 21 not out. Bowling for Pakistan, Yousuf Mohammed took 2 for 29.
In reply, Pakistan 132 for 8 from 38 overs. Moin Mumtaz 37, Muddasar Waqar 20, Merchant Ali 16 and Mohammed 13. The Leewards won by 47 runs.
