ICC Americas will conduct an ICC Level 1 Coaching course in New Jersey. The one-day course is being organized through a collaboration between DreamCricket Academy and Long Island Youth Cricket Academy.

Youth cricket has grown exponentially in New Jersey over the last 5 years. The state now has several youth cricket tournaments and is home to the summer season-long NATA youth cricket league with a dozen teams in Under-13 and Under-15 age categories.
As junior cricket experiences exponential growth, the demand for qualified and experiences coaches is also increasing. DreamCricket Academy alone needs four coaches to oversee its four junior teams. The ICC Level 1 coaching certification is expected to benefit programs such as DreamCricket Academy which are looking to bring cricket to their communities and schools across New Jersey and New York.

The course level is basic and allows for presenters with no cricket background to be trained to deliver its contents. It is ideal for Physical Education teachers, parents and club administrators seeking to introduce cricket to young people in their local community. It is expected that several Physical Education teachers will also attend this course to kick off activities in their schools in New Jersey and New York.
The day-long course is being delivered at a cost of $120. More details on the cost, terms and conditions, and procedure for registration are available through the link below-
