The sponsorships keep rolling in for the USA U-19 squad and the latest one belongs to Shiva Vashishat. The captain is very excited to have landed an endorsement deal for all his cricket equipment from Gray Nicolls.
“It feels great. It feels good to get a sponsorship, especially from a big company,” said Vashishat. “I always use their bats. I was pretty picky with my bats and I really like the Powerbow bats and their equipment.” .jpg)
Vashishat has been using Gray Nicolls bats for four years now, but to get a full equipment endorsement from them makes him feel even better.

“The bats are really good,” said Vashishat. ‘The weights, the pickup, the balance is very good. I like everything about their equipment. It suits my style.”
The 20-year-old, currently a junior Psychology major at UC-Davis, led the North West Region team to the U-19 National Tournament Championship in Brooklyn this past May before being named captain of the national team. Vashishat then led USA to a second place finish at the Americas Qualifier in July and a fifth place finish at the ICC U-19 World Cup Global Qualifier in September, both of which took place in Toronto. He will be leading a 15-man squad to New Zealand next month for the ICC U-19 World Cup.
