In their second match against NCCA Mustangs, Falcons put up a whopping 148 runs in 25 overs and bowled out their rivals for 50 runs in 17 overs.

The USA National Junior Cricket Tournament began on Wednesday, 18th June, with the Cupertino Mayor Ms. Dolly Sandoval bowling to DeAnza college President Mr.Brian Murphy who was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony.

In their second match against NCCA Mustangs, Falcons put up a whopping 148 runs in 25 overs and bowled out their rivals for 50 runs in 17 overs. J Gerber scored 15 not out and 54 for Falcons in these two matches. Brandon D took 4 for 10 against the Mustangs and Domaille took 3 for 19. Adithya Nagaraja claiming 2 for 14 and 3 for 8 respectively against CCL and NCCA.

WIth the likes of J Gerber, Abhijit Joshi and Steven Taylor (the last two played in the ICC Americas team) in the batting department and with the formidable bowling strength of Adithya Nagaraja and Brandon D, the Falcons are expected to pose the strongest challenge yet to CCA, who are the defending champions.

Under-15:

Game 1: CCA Blues vs NCCA Mustangs

CCA Blues scored 72 runs all out in 24.5 overs defeated NCCA Mustangs falling short by just 8 runs in 20.2 overs.

Notable Performers: Aalok Mehta - 24 runs and 2 for 16, Ryan Ramnaraine - 3 for 20.

Game 2: USA Falcons vs CCL

USA Falcons scoring 53 runs in 8.4 overs Defeated CCL team which scored 52 runs in 19.2 overs.

Notable Performers: A. Nagaraja - 2 for 14, G. Domaille 3 for 19, A. Ajodhi - 2 for 5, K. Edmonson - 2 for 4. J. Gerber and S. Taylor both remained not out at 15.

Game 3: USA Falcons vs NCCA Mustangs

USA Falcons scoring 148 runs in allotted 25 overs beat NCCA Mustangs team which managed to score 50 runs in 17 overs.

Notable Performers: J. Gerber - 54, Abhijit Joshi - 28, Steven Taylor - 30, Adithya Nagaraja - 3 for 8 and Brandon D., 4 for 10

Game 4: CCL vs CCA Blues

CCL scoring 57 in 6.1 overs Defeated CCA Blue team which managed to score 57 in 15 overs.

Under-13

Game 1: NCCA Colts vs Michigan

NCCA Colts scoring 68 in 16.5 overs defeated Michigan team which managed to score 65 runs in 13.2 overs.

Notable Performers: R. Suthar 4 for 17, S.Khan 2 for 18, E. Yesseni - 2 for 10, B. Singh not out 14.

Game 2: CCA Purple vs CCA Green

CCA Purple scoring 143 in 25 overs defeated CCA Green team which scored 70 runs in 25 overs.

Notable Performers: Dev Parikh - 44, Sameer Joshi - 30, Dushyant Naresh - 2 for 10 and Achal Bhatt 2 for 16.
